say it like you mean it....

I really like words phrases, and expressions, and yes I am a nerd. (The mere fact that I am blogging about them would make me even a bigger nerd.) Here are some of my favs:

cleanup on aisle five- I get to use this one a lot. We don't have any aisles in our house, but lots of spills, so it still applies.

Oo-de-lally- It's from Disney's animated Robin Hood. It can be used in place of amazing or gee whiz.

anywho- I use it in place of anyhow and anyway. It doesn't really make sense, which is one of the reasons that I like it.

frick n' frack- when I hear this used it always makes me laugh.

these pretzels are making me thirsty- Of course it's from Seinfeld, and is a classic. Just say it when you don't know what else to say.

And now for my least favorite phrase........"outside the box" it is so overused. I think that someone should "think outside the box, and come up with a new expression.

20 months after starting the project......

We have curtains! Can I get a woot woot?! I know these pictures are dark, but it was the best I could do. I am almost done with my peeps bedroom. It makes me so happy to have something done. One window down, just 10 more to go. At this rate I will be done in about 5 years.
