Only in Utah County

Saturday and Home Depot. I have learned that having your own home makes this combination inevitable. Every week it's the same. We load the girls in cart and spend an hour or so looking for someone to help us, eventually abandoning that idea and then next hour desperately trying to figure out what kind of materials we need to buy to install rain gutters.

A few weeks ago I was able to overhear a conversation that was just too good not to share. I was standing in the roofing aisle waiting for B-Rad. Their was a couple whom I would guess to be in their mid-sixties was talking to a worker in an orange apron. (Unbelievable, someone was actually getting service.) They were going into every detail about what supplies they needed to get in order to put a new roof on their home. The sales associate talked about the shingles, the nails, the tools, on and on. Then the kicker. As we walked past the group we heard him tell the couple, "Ultimately it depends on how exactly your hometeacher wants to do it."

I haven't stopped laughing.

Easters Foto Flop

Well, I have finally got the nerve up to post the pictures from the Easter Photo Shoot. In the fifteen minutes that we had before we walked into church late, (again) we spent the whole time trying to get Peep 2 to sit down for .5 seconds. As you can see it just didn't happen. Oh well, maybe I will draw a picture of what they looked like and put THAT in their scrapbooks.
