Want to know the weather in Dehli?

Sunny and warm. How do I know this? Did I Google it, read it in the newspaper? Negative to all of these. I simply asked the HP Technical Support Girl who happens to live there. We had a lot of time to talk since we were on the phone for FOUR HOURS! I wish, how I wish that I had just mistyped that, but no, I was on the phone with tech support from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. last week. I could almost feel my hair turning white during the process.

I learned a few things during the ordeal, I mean experience. First of all, my cordless phone can go about three hours before the battery dies. Second, the one quasi-Bollywood movie that I love (Bride and Prejudice) is popular in India. Thirdly, if I talk to someone who has an accent for a long period of time, I start to think in an accent in my head. Sidenote: A similar thing used to happen to me when I would talk to my friend Marcella from Chile for eight hours straight at work. Then I would go home, go to bed and in my dreams everyone spoke with Spanish accents. Finally, I still don't know why it took four hours to hook up my new printer. At this point I don't know if I ever will. I do take comfort in the fact that it took a software engineer several hours to figure it out herself. So it couldn't have been just me right?

Sadly, the conversation with new Tech Support friend was the longest I talked to an adult all week. Guess I should have tried to enjoy it. Hope you don't get any computer equipment for Christmas that requires Tech Support. Although if you do, make sure your phone battery is fully charged.
